In Victorian times the area around New York Street was a highly desirable residential location, with the magnificent portico library and royal Manchester institution just a stone’s throw away. We welcome you into our inner sanctum. A large bar area, bedecked in dark artworks and lit to stir the senses, plays host to a range of innovative events throughout the year.

Our ideology pushes beyond the typical cocktail bar. Our bartenders create every cocktail with an obsessive eye for detail, orchestrated to add a devilish dash of theatre.

“My friends always joke that DJing is part of my genetic make-up; they're probably right. I currently run two successful Manchester based events, Nite School and Bent Hedonism. My musical style is very much "if I like it, I play it" - ranging from low slung Disco to high energy Techno, and everything in-between. That said, House music is definitely my happy place.
I've been DJing for 25 years and have played some incredible gigs at venues like Eastern Bloc and festivals such as Parklife, but my career highlight has to be supporting Bicep at the Warehouse Project.”
